I recently acquired a 03 Monte Carlo ss. I recently found out that all the dash lights don't work when the headlights are on. The mileage and stereo displays are on at full brightness during the day, but at night they do dim automatically, as I'm assuming the light sensor on the front of the dash near the windshield is triggering the signal to the dash lighting that it's dark, and to dim.. so upon reading the forums about this, it's been pointed out to check the headlight switch. So upon removing the plug/pigtail from the headlight switch, a pin on the headlight switch, and the plug is melted. I'm wanting to find this pigtail, so I can put in a new one. But I'm running into dead ends. Can't even find the plug, to even find a part number. anyone able to help me out here?
