Hello all, I am a newbie here but no stranger to auto forums or the automotive community. That being said I have run my whitts end trying to get my key fobs working on my 03 SS, I have replaced the battery, reprogrammed it and it will program. but when I got to use it, it just does not work. EVEN in the car... I have no idea what is wrong here and maybe someone has some insight on what the problem is.

I did a search and found the TBS on the newer 05-06 models but nothing RE anything older.

Hi Aaron, Welcome to the site.

I know a few '06 owners have complained their remote entry FOBs have stopped working. The only fix was to have the dealer replace them.

One Monte owner did post he found the electrical ground near the drivers door. He cleaned the area around the bolt for the ground wires and his remote entry FOB started working better.
