Keep in mind guys that GM's dashes are VERY fragile. I pulled mine out 2 weeks ago and just popping the dash off I broke small plastic pieces. I was about as careful as can be. When you think you've got it back in completely don't get too excited, make sure that around your gauges that the dash is fitted around it completely. I noticed mine isnt because there are 2 clips that connect into the plastic vinyl on the main dash. It sounds easy guys but trust me, the key to this is take your time and make sure you have the clearance before pulling it out. I've pulled many dashes out before and while it was simple to get loose it was a pain in the *** to manuver out

yours must have had a lot of sunlight exposure, mines strong and flexible, of course be careful but seems like you might just have a dash that's been weakened by the sun.

I am trying now the way silverbullit did it, i unplugged the battery and the sensors, but i cannot get the airbag to pop out, i push the flathead in there and twist both ways and the airbag doesn't even move, does anyone have another way to do this or have a suggestion on what i should do differently?
still curious about this, i'm thinking of pulling the dash and then using the screws.
