it does not look like it fits correctly in the pics, also i would be worried about only attaching to one stud and it snapping off......

yea i just seen it, i was actually about to ask if it was bolted to one stud or not....that seems iffy to put alot of the cars sway on just 2 of the struts bolts

In the pics the mounting tab is not sitting flush with the strut tower (raised up on the stud) so it will be impossible to correctly tighten that way. Also I didn't say the bar would break I said the bolt/ stud it's mounted to may since it's only mounting to one stud per side....

I agree with Turbo, that home made bar looks like it's going to stress that stud. If there is flex/force in the strut towers, it might snap the stud.
Most strut braces I see on the market that use the strut mounting points grab two of the strut bolts/studs to share the load.
At minimum, I would want those tabs resting flush with the tower and mounting point.

Food for thought.

Unfortunately, I have to agree with Turbo and Maniac and add that the strut bolts (studs) are "Torque to Yield" type meaning they're already stretched beyond their elasticity leaving that stud even more vulnerable to snapping off. The way it is there's no way to torque it properly and throws off the torque on the other 2 mounting studs on each mount. Also, technically the nuts are only supposed to be torqued one time and should be replaced if removed.

I have to put washers under to make it solid,it doesn't have that much torque on it to break.
