vapor lock

Default vapor lock

ok well i think ive figured out why the monte runs so bad when it gets warm.i think it is vapor lock.what exactly is this?where does it occur?(ie.between pump/carb,tank/pump)how can i get rid of it?and the cheapest way i can.thanks for any input.

the car is a 350,mechanical fuel pump.inline fuel filter about 6in away from carb.had the tank out to clean check fuel lines goin into tank all looked good
