Upgrades for 2005 SS SC?
I recently got a 2005 SS Supercharged and am wondering what upgrades I can do to get an performance increase. I'm not too knowledgable about cars but I have done some research and it sounds like getting smaller pulleys for the supercharger is a good start. Is there anything else I should do along with this or is there anything I should do before I get smaller pulleys?

Read through this, you would have an L67. They require premium gas in any form.

There is also a bunch of good info in the FWD Tech Guides here on MCF.com to assist with mod ideas.
Bumpin's guide is a great starting point for research!!

You can't just drop a pulley size and drive it. If you drop a pulley size you need supporting mods for the pulley and most importantly a tune. Read over the Links members posted above there is very good info there.

If you aren't already running premium (91+ octane), then don't bother modding it yet. As with most L67s, it probably has some minor KR stock. Running 87 octane will certainly increase that amount. Simply putting in higher octane gas will add a nice boost in power at WOT and other high load situations.
If 89 is the highest they have at the pumps, then you're going to be stuck doing a lot more mods than the normal person to run knock free.
