Not necessarily- a CSCwould not sit on top of the intake manifold.

Also, if you wanted to stick with a positive displacement blower- you could remote mount it (used to be a 3100 kit like that- where it dumped into a plenum, and then was piped into the stock TB)- or you could make a custom upper intake manifold (and need a bigger hood, or hole in the hood like that 3.4 dohc monte).

$8k for a turbo kit sounds awfully steep- why couldn't you block the downpipe connection off, and just have a custom crossover made with a turbo mount like the 3800s do? I'm sure even if you had to have someone custom fab the new crossover pipe and your new exhaust downpipe setup- you could do it for under $8k unless you're talking about doing a really expensive turbo.

 

i am assuming that the necessary transmission work will be done. thats what the price is for.

that is the kit from cartuning in canada. it is the only available kit out there right now. you can custom fab one tho/

 

uh im a new guy to all of this monte carlo world. so i was wondering if i could put a supercharger from a pontiac grand prix gtp 3.8 v6 into my 02' 3.8 v6 monte carlo. is it possible?

 

yes- lots of work, about the same as a head gasket change- search for 'top swap' on here and you should find all the info you need
