hi i have a 2005 monte ss supercharged and the torque converter is messed up on the car and i got a tranny from a 2007 gtp non supercharged...will the tranny from the 2007 gtp fit my 2005 monte carlo supercharged motor? starters the same fit?

 

The Trans will "fit" mechanicaly but the gearing ratio is different. And the Trans is weaker. You would need a re-tune of the ecm to adjust for the 4t65e Trans vs the 4t65ehd trans. There are a few other gearing ratios for this trans so it's not always a perfect easy swap.
