Default Fitting 18x8.5 on stock ’04 Monte

I own a 2004 Monte Carlo SS, totally stock (for now) and I would like to put on a set of wheels (American Racing Rogue) that are 18x8.5 with 245/45/R18 tires. I’ve checked sizing on the tirerack.com and they claim this should work, but I am concerned that they might not fit correctly or rub on suspension or the fenders especially in the back. This just seems like a really wide set up. Would anyone know if this set up would be problem free on a stock monte carlo? Also, the reason I’m going with this tire size is to keep the tire diameter the same as stock, so as not to through off the speedo, or computer.
I would really like to hear from someone who either is using this same size set up or knows someone who has.
Any thoughts would be well appreciated, and I thank you in advance for your opinion.
