So fever your saying you have the T/B spacer?

what did you notice with the throttel respons and the temp etc...

I know mos tof them have a plug to plug off the T/b from the cooling system so that it dont heat it up as much.

there is also a mod someplace to do the same thing basically i was told if you live in a cold climate not to do it. but it changes the flow so that you by pass the T/B all togeather and it will allow it to stay cooler longer and not cause it to heat up and heat the air also.

So i would be interasted in finding out more on this.

But also if you can figure out where 234 pheniox is he has a post on how to polish the T/B and it is also suposed to give you gains in respons etc.. but you have to tear it off and polish it . BUT BE REACAREFUL OF THE MAP SENSOR!! they are not fun to mess up or to buy the replacements for them .

But i have though tof doing this also. but would rather have one out of a junk car to polish so i have a spare if needed.

yeah the P&P was the best mod i have done yet i have the writeup here on my website: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/473859/6 i recently just did my lower intake manifold. when i first did the P&P the junk yard car had a cracked lower manifold... so i jus had the upper and tb. those made a very noticable diff. the new lower seems to just help a little around mid range. i ended up redoing teh TB 2 more times after the first cause i learned more and more about P&P from the net and from practice. my next mods are going to be exhaust cause i have done most of my work on the intake side... now its time to look at exhaust.

also along with m P&P of the upper intake i removed the coolent line that went into the TB. Personally i think the gains from the spacer are from smoothing the transition from the TB to the intake manifold. the blocking of coolent does help. but it is so low it would be hard to detect even on a dyno. if you go about doing this P&P work i would deff recomend getting a set from a junkyard. cause that way you can take your time and do a better job. i was amazed how off GM matched some of these pieces!

so what would it take for you to get me a set LOL

here in GERm. they just dont have tomany monte carlos.

I can almost bet the others here would notice it i took thier LOL

Im so glad you keep your site updated LOL I have sat here and red it several times over to see how your car is comming along. It has defently change with time. Looks nice !

Also re reading it again today i seen teh head light mod.
Was talking to the mechanic here he said that if you want more light all you need to do is to upgrade the wires on the head lights if you were to do this you would gain almost 30%more light out of the stock GM set up.

SO of course i was thinking of doing it and now it has rained for the past month almost straight.
So if i can get to this before the snow flies i will let you know if it happens or not.

at my junk yard i go to down here, 3400's arent very common. but i'll keep my eyes open. i try to go atleast once a month if not more. if i see one i'll pick it up.

i never heard of gainng more light by changing out the wires, but its possible. im not sure if i have it on my website, but i recently added new sockets soi could run High beam bulbs in the low beams. it gives a bit more light. and cause the reflectors do the aiming noone is getting blinded!

actually i have the 3800 i have a 03 SS ,

that is what he told me like i said i haven't tried to do it. but he was saying they limit the current to match the wires . basically he said that if you were to check them at the lights you were not getting a full 12 volts to them it would be more like 8-10 .

So with that said i need to check the lights before I start re wiring things in them. I have also looked about doing the high beams in the low beams. but not real sure on that when it comes to going to the states for customs i have to pass threw a inspect there also.
