I have a 86 Monte SS and I drop it down into 1st gear and then shift up to 2nd but it doesnt feel right,I then try to put it into drive and it wont go. I pull it down back to first and no problem but when I try to put it up to drive its a no go. I then notice the cable broke so I go under the car and try to shift it by hand but once again a no go. Its stuck in 2nd gear,it will shift from first to second and back but not into drive overdrive neutral or park. I am open for any suggestions or solutions. Thank you very much!
