So i guess im a fool i took mine out and threw it as far as i could to make sure it didnt get put back in.

After driving a while it can also plug up and cause this issue to get even worse.
If the TB screen is plugging up it means the air filter isn't doing its job or there is a leak somewhere in your intake system otherwise grit and gravel couldn't get in there to plug it up. The intake is supposed to be a completely enclosed system after the air filter.

But if you prefer to have what was being filtered by the TB screengoing into the intake, valves, and cyclinder walls, well.... go see your first sentance.

I'm sure that junk can only help the engines lifespan, reliability, and performance.
