Default Supercharging the L36

After a few months of research and comparing costs versus a game plan of what I want my car to eventually be able to perform, I've come to the conclusion that Supercharging my L36 3800 engine is what I really want. What I'd like to do is go after the L36 SS M90 supercharger from ZZP. The kit itself sells for $200, then I will probably need the coil adapter and iron bracket, $45, a re-tuned PCM , $100, L67 intake manifold, $100, Billet fuel logs, $430, (ZZP currently says these are out of stock...) and a custom pulley, $120. So this totals out to be $995. I read the reviews on ZZP on this supercharger system, two of them were very bad...saying the supercharger caused the drivetrain to break, and that it needs to be upgraded to handle the extra power. Are there any other extras that you need to upgrade for the supercharger add? Anything that should be replaced? And...WILL THOSE FUEL LOGS GET IN STOCK AGAIN!? This upgrade seems to be the best bang for buck to get a decent amount of power, putting it on a stock N/A 3800 series 2, I'm hoping for 240-250 Crank HP. 240 Crank HP, enough to match any stock L67 out there is all I've ever wanted, and now seeing I can't go that road and stay N/A, I'll switch over to S/C, since the costs are relatively the same. ZZP suggests this kit will add 60HP and 60tq to the L36, I'm going to say they're overestimating and say I'll get a 45-50HP and TQ increase.

im not a big fan of the m90 kit, i think the full top swap is a much better option...

you can buy everything for the swap (minus gaskets/incidentals) for ~500 (maybe less depending on the miles on the parts).

you can always piece the swap together to save even more money, try looking on some of the for sale threads on clubGP or 3800pro.com.

Billet fuel logs, $430, (ZZP currently says these are out of stock...)
For some reason this has always been a problem with them- I don't really know why they are always so low on logs. Can you use another brand like PRJ logs, or do they do something special for the SS kit to their rails?

Your best bet is to email them to find out when they're in stock again.

I'm going to say they're overestimating and say I'll get a 45-50HP and TQ increase.
I'd bet you're right on the money with power. You'll have less boost, but higher compression- so you should be at or slightly above a stock L36. Plus you'll be quicker than a stock L67 due to your higher final drive and slightly looser and lighter converter.
