Anyway, back to the constructive conversation.

Thanks Chibi. That's what I was thinking, but I wasn't sure if it had anything to do with the 98 and 98 coil brackets being cast iron or not; or if there was another reason for it. I think that when I do mine, I'll just have my Dad modify mine to work. He's a machinist, so he should be able to come up with something.

Thanks again, Chibi for all the helpful info you give all of us.

I'm sure there are ways to modify the original to work, BUT the cast iron mount would really be your best option.

It's cast iron, unlike your current mount which is aluminum. I broke the aluminum mount when my car was stock. It would only make sense that if your upping the power then you'd have even more issues on that aluminum mount.

Switching the the cast iron would just be good preventive maintenance that will cost less in the long run. You could break aluminum ones over and over but there's no worry with the cast iron one, just my opinion though.

That makes total sense. That's the kind of input I was looking for. I know that they have a tendancy to break, but I wasn't sure what to think about it. I think you're right. I'll try and find a cast iron one when the time comes.

Sorry, my post was aimed at the OP.

To answer your question, if I remember correct, the l67 has an extra hole for the other pulley to mount on. I just swapped it all over from an l67 because the bolt size is different on the coil packs, the full pull off was easier.
