Default flowmaster 44s now, thinking about SLP catback exaust kit.

Is it worth it, would it sound better than 2 44 FMs. or will i be wasting money on a catback system.

its all personal preference. i love my slp cat back.

i basicly got it cause its made from high quality stainless and should last me forever, and i liked the sound clips. mines the loudmouth II version.

flowmasters sound good too though. its all about how much you want to spend.

yeah i had LM2s on my camaro 2010 SS, but that was a 6.2L engine, im quite sure a 5.3L would sound differnt. i want to get em,but if its no change in sound why get them, i could spend the money on a CAI and 4 inch borla tips on my 44s.

Mak330 has the SLP cat-back but he has the 3.5LT, apparently deeboe made the mistake of thinking that Mak330 has the SS. Although, that link provided does say that the SLP system will fit the 5.3 Monte Carlo.

i dont think that itll sound like a loudmouth on the camaro. isnt the loudmouth on the camaro axle back piping with the mufflers removed. just take your mufflers off and have pipe added. save yourself a little cash and sound similar.

no they deffinatly sound different than stock.

i like the way they sound, and im sure it would sound better on a bigger engine.

thats why i never got that they market the exhausts differntly for the 6th and 7th gen. they are all the same, fitment wise.

just listen to the sound pics on you tube, thats what i did. pay attention to the mods they have to. headers, cai, resonator delete, downpipe, cat delete......
