it overheats after twenty mins or so of idling. I havent had a chance to try running it with the shroud on to see if that will make a difference. I also noticed the car starts dying out if i hit the brakes hard so Im thinking vacuum leak but I dont know if that will cause it to overheat? I know Im reaching here but I was also thinking about changing the coolant temp sensor out to see if thats not turning on the fan but I dont know???? Thanks for the help guys hopefully we'll figure it out.

wait so your running an electric fan not a clutch fan? whats your fan rated at? definitely put a shroud on it regardless air takes the path of least resistance and if your not running a shroud then your not helping your cause.

Almost Done!!!!
Finally no overheating it was a combination of timing being off and not having the shroud on thanks for the help guys!!!!! now on to the next problem my hose that goes to the tranny vacuum modulator came loose so thats my next mission couldnt do it today cause it rained. Thanks everybody for the help.
