Default Rebuilding Blown Engine

Hey all! First post and unfortunately my engine seems to have blown. My mechanic says a lifter collapsed and ruined my cam/bearings. im looking into getting a Lunati Bootlegger Cam Kit, and standard rebuild kit. I was about to order the cam when i noticed it required a torque converter with a 2000-2500 stall. My knowledge of car mechanics is limited at best so im not sure which converter would be the best choice for my vehicle. From what ive researched a lot of factors come into play when selecting the converter. The car will primarily be used for daily driving until i get something a little better on gas. Im going to the shop tomorrow so if any more info is needed feel free to ask.

Hi there and welcome to the forum.
Torque convertor/cam combinations are confusing to me and I went through this last year when I had to change out my transmission. I just trusted one of my racing buddies with the torque convertor selection and so far, it works well for me. I went with a B&M Tork Master 2000 since I have a stock cam in a 350 sbc.
Someone here on the forum with MUCH more transmission knowledge than I is sure to post.
