Purchased a wrecked 2003 SS Yellow and Silver Monte with the high sport trim package. Also bought a 2000 red Ls "nascar" edition. I'm building these two, yellow for my wife and Red for my daughter. I've been surfing through a lot of post for information. It's nice to have a site where you can learn from others through their past experiences.

Red LS Nascar Edition? Are you referring to a 2000 Pace Car?


Just wondering b/c I didn't know any LSs had a special package until later years.

 

No not an Indy. The Red 2000 has the stand up spoiler, Black and Grey seats with NASCAR stitched into seat top. No SS emblems, no high sport extension package. Looks nice though red with black trim.

Welcome. I'm not an expert in all the option packages for the Montes, but your red one sounds like it's an LS with the High Sport Package that someone threw in the black/gray seats.

Yea, I'd like to see some pics to. I agrre with what they said ^^^, never heard of that package. Sounds like it could be nice when finished. Good Luck.
