Default Pulley Swap

I would like to swap to a smaller Supercharger pulley on my stock L67. Whats the smallest size pulley I can swap to without having to change anything else?
(2004 Monte Carlo SS L67)

Wheres the best place to get it from? Is there a store I can go to so that I dont have to order it off the internet?

Thanks

Well the smallest stock you should go is a 3.8, which you have. You could go to a 3.6 but if you have no way of scanning for knock, you could do some serious damage to your motor. I would say do a cold air intake, and exhaust and you could easily run a 3.6.

For the pulley, get a modular pulley from zzp.

So get a 3.6 pulley, cold air intake, and exhaust. What should I do to the exhaust?

And how would I go about getting ahold of a knock sensor?

Well you could get an exhaust kit, and downpipe, zzp also sells them, gmpp has a good exhaust, or even get a custom one made at an exhaust shop, just bigger with higher flowing mufflers. If you want to get to a 3.4 pulley, get some speed daddy or ssautochrome headers.

For knock, you need to have someone with a tuning program scan your car while you are driving it.

Before you do anything regarding swapping pulleys please reference this thread to see what it takes to run smaller pulleys.

As far as knock sensors your car already has two of them. One for each bank. But if you don't have anything to be able to read what they're outputting you can't make adjustments to help rectify it.

The easiest way to view how much knock your engine has would be to get an Aeroforce Scan Gauge. Also, you never want knock to go higher then 0.
