Symptoms are try starting wants to start but seems like fuel isnt getting to injectors maybe. Was told a couple more things such as intake manifold gasket or timing chain guy checked my valves inside the oil cap and had me crank it and they did not move

Could be the ignition control module, a coil, fuel pump, cam sensor, MAF sensor... The list goes on and on.

Heres a quick MAF test......Un plug it and start the car...If it starts and runs...Theres your problem!

If your not sure where ,how to unplug it....Heres another sign symptom to try.....Hold loud pedal to the floor...start the car and hold it floored..If it keeps running against the rev limiter......Maf is needed to be replaced....
Cleaning current MAF may or may not work...at least for any length of time til the nexttime it messes up...

Thats why despite the expense..its best to purchase a new one...(MAF)

If these 2 tests prove to not resolve the issue....Then I wouldnt be any further help without further info....as before mentioned..it could be a multitude of things...

2ndary guess would be possible fuel pump...check fuel rail pressure to confirm...

Would be good to know what motor u have...mileage etc etc....
