Problem dont know cause
So i started my car up the other day, when i did it started like normal revved up to around 1000 or so. Except when it did it right after dropped down to like 200 rpms and acted as if it were about to stall. Now this was about a 5 second process. Nothing too pro longed. And again today did the same process again except managing to stall out when dropping rpms. Each time after the car ran fine and acted normal. When it stalled it started rightback up next time no problem. Any ideas on what could possibly be up with it?
What Year? What motor? How many miles on it?
But..
First thing that comes to mind would be a tune-up..
Whens the last time you changed the air filter?
when the last time you had/did an oil change?
Hows the fuel pressure at the fuel rail?
Have you changed the fuel filter lately?
These are just a few things to look at/consider.

Its an 02 3.8. Has roughly 180,000 miles (had a cluster change in the past)
probably could use a tune up
couldnt tell u when the filter has been changed
Oil change has not been any more than 1,000 miles ago
Again cpuldnt tell u pressure at fuel rail (dont really know what ur really talking about to be honest)
and i dont think fuel filter has been changed recently either

I would first consider changing the fuel filter.
You can rent a fuel pressure gauge at any auto parts store.
They can explain how to use it...
But on top of the motor youll find the fuel rail that feeds the injectors...
There s a black connector at the very center of that fuel rail ... That's where you check the fuel pressure at...
But I highly recommend ... changing the fuel filter before you check the fuel pressure.
