Default RE: plug wires...

After reading the bloggers kudos for the Granatelli MPG Plus wires (green only), I purchased a set for my Y2K SS 3.8. Folks that installed these NOResistance wires -virtually coil-on-plug performance- on their vehicles experienced a 3 mpg increase and greater hp. I paid $90 (normally well over $140) for my set at carparts.com. I will post results after I install and experience the new wires. I currently get 26.7 mpg and expect almost 30 mpg.

I am wondering which plugs will work best with the new wires. One does not normally see resistance values for spark plugs, but I presumebest performance is achieved withlow resistance plugs and construction materials that will give long life.

Stock 3800 wires aren't that bad, I've personally seen cars in the 11s with them. As for what plugs to go with- your stock platinum delcos are just fine.
