This is for all the mechanics/techs or for anybody who knows a thing or two about engines.I am stuck between a couple of options for an engine swap.One is if at all possible I could install the 435hp/435tq Edelbrock Power Package on a bare 350 and build it up from there.Or I could install a complete ZZ4 350 Turnkey or a complete Ram Jet 350.Any and all suggestions will be read!I appreciate any info I receive.I have what you could call a deadline to decide my choice so the quicker the better!Thanks!

 

 

I'm mostly going for reliabilty,longevity and ease of repair,but money is an issue.The ZZ4 is $3800.I'm not sure on the prices of the other two but the Ram Jet is going to be more.

 

3800 is a good price for the zz4 is that for the whole motor as a turnkey or is that just a long block? im not overly impressed with the horsepower rating or torque for the price its a motor with 10.1 compression with aluminum heads and it barely makes 1hp per ci. and it has a roller. heres a site that i think has a nicer crate engine line up.

dont forget that your goin to want to do some work to that 200 4r tranny. ie convertor with some stall speed and at least a rebuild and shift kit. and you gotta watch the 10 bolt thats in the rear its only 26 spline axle with a small ring gear on a sticky tire you might be in for trouble. and even though im not a fan if you can get the zz4 turkey with carb and everything 3800 then go for it its a real good deal.
