performance problem
I've never had a problem running some injector cleaner through any of my cars. If it did clean something out of your injectors, wouldnt it just go into your cumbustion chamber, and burn right as part of the exhaust!!!?!?
A check engine light does not always come on for the cat. The one in my mom's Bonneville was bad for over a year, and the engine light NEVER came on. The cats on these cars are not the best, its rather common for them to go bad.

yeah the check engine light didnt come on when my cats clogged up on my truck, it just stopped at higher RPMS i gutted them dont need em lol, but deff run injector cleaner threw & change to a diff gas you nvr know
What you're referring to about running stuff from the engine is this rip off of so called "engine flushes" where they run this stuff through the engine right before an oil change. Then all of the dried up oil and carbon in the intake and heads gets stuck up in your oil channels and causes the oil to back up in your rocker arm box, and then when you start the car you get a nice puff of oil coming out of the exhaust because the valves dropped it into the cylinder.... sea foam is run through the fuel and cleans the carbon out of the cylinders fuel injectors and the cylinders. I know this is techincal, but sea foam is not the stuff you're talking about where you clean it out of one place and stop it up somewhere else.
Do you fill up at some cheap, no brand advertised gas station that is always a few cents cheaper than every one else? Sometimes those guys drop crap in their tanks to kind of thin the fuel and make more money. Or they dial their pumps back. Maybe you need new spark plugs as welll... which are fun to get to on FWD V6 for the back ones. How many miles are on your car? You may even need new ignition coils.... myself or someone else can explain how to change all of this is it comes to that.
