Default L67 Exhaust studs/bolts

Does anyone know how the exhaust bolts/studs are supposed to be? (IE, I'm using a bolt that requires me to use a deep socket on it - on the front exhaust manifold - and I'm pretty sure that the bolt goes right of the middle primary on the manifold, and I use a nut to keep the oil dipstick in place. I need to know exactly which bolts/studs go where.

Not exactly sure what you mean, but the only reason that any of the manifold bolts are actually studs is to be able to bolt the stock heat shield over the manifold.

If you have the stock heat shield, then it's pretty easy to see which goes where.
If not, then it doesn't really matter as all of the 4 bolts are the same size/thread.

The only difference is the outside studs are set into the head, rather than being a stud/bolt combo type of deal. (the ones that are on either end of the manifold, if that makes sense).

Hope that helps.

Thanks for your response. I've come the conclusion that it doesn't matter which bolts go where, but the studs are important. I took everything off the head when I had them ported. I don't have the stock heat shield, so I'm all set there.

If it's just a straight stud, and not a stud/bolt combo kinda deal, then they go on the very outsides of the manifolds (left of cylinder 1 and right of cylinder 5 if that makes sense).

The ones that are the stud/bolt combo all go on the inside.
