The big item I am really impressed with has to do with the coolant. The black monte has shown no signs of dex-cool "sludge".... Yet the Blue Monte actually did. Before pulling things apart on the black monte, I had pressure tested the cooling system once and it held! The LIM gaskets had not failed to the point where fluids were mixing, that is a great thing! The primary failure was oil getting to the bolts and wicking up. A couple of bolts were loose as a result. You can see the oil around the LIM gaskets. You can also see the rubber seals had aged to the point they were not pliable and that was going to be another failure. Overall, pretty impressed. So much so, next coolant fill for both cars is AC Delco Dex with Distilled Water (not my normal Prestone with Dex and Tap water).
