i have an 06 SS with a few things that make a difference. one K&N intake, Magnaflow exhaust, diablo sport tuner, lowered with eibach pro kit.
after it all i have seen an increase of 1 mpg in city, 4 on the highway(at 55, but who goes 55) it sounds AWESOME with the exhaust.

if you save up to about $6000 there is a company in canada called cartuning. they make a turbo kit with everything you need to make it work. they were saying bit over 400 whp

you really don't have to post essentially the exact same topic in all of the engine related sections- one post is good enough

if you're gonna make upwards of 400hp then you gotta start thinkin about beefing up the rest of the drivetrain. the stock tranny and rear end wouldn't hold up to that kind of power in my opinion.

Awesome!!!

Does anyone know what transmission is being in these vehicles?

If he has the 4T65E-HD he won't need to worry about a thing.
