Not to mention the exhaust tone actually sounds 100% better when it is using the full 8 cylinders all the time. Read the theory on DOD if you can and how it works and you will be blown away with how complicated it makes things.

After deleting cat, tune and disabling DOD I have better fuel mileage than when DOD was functioning. Deleting cat made the car way more free flowing for sure. I think it's the one mod that needs to be done to feel some more free flowing power. It was extremely noticable for me anyway.

If I do any more mods its the built trans and turbo. Nothing else in between is worth it to me.
Better MPG without DOD?? What are you averaging? I just looked the other day I'm at 20.6mpg...I rarely get on it I really baby it but obviously, having previous faster cars, I want it faster. I was thinking of CAI, mufflers, res/cat delete and tune + tranny cooler. Wish I could find a reasonable priced set of headers but eh whatevs lol anyway, what are you averaging with the set up you have?

I get 16 according to my gauge, but I also have a tune without a cai. I'm gonna swap to colder plugs next year probably. gonna be adding a cooler soon then replacing struts and that should help more. I don't think I'm gonna lower it anymore cause it's my daily driver and I'm gonna have to deal with snow soon. I've been thinking about making my own cold air intake for awhile but idk, my stock air box has a crack in it so I know it's still letting in hot air ~_~...

I get 24 MPG at 55mph behind an 18 wheeler for 300 miles or so. Once you start going over 55 my mileage stops to drop, but im also running a 3.69 chain so my RPMs are higher. DOD is disabled.
