Depends on what your budget is, you could get a good set of headers. Tunes are nice they really wake up the car. most people with the LS4 go for a "LEW" tune. that's the best there is.

For exhaust i would recommend SLP loudmouths as they sound the best. if you have some good cash to spend you could buy a turbo for it.

I think the super44 are waay too much drone, imo. A custom tune and some tranny tweaks should do the trick. Tranny cooler would be first on my list to do, then some performance mods. Catless dp would wake it up, for $500+ headers are a waste on a stock engine. A tune with some added timing and some colder plugs(ngk) and good wires(msd/ngk) would be a better investment. Enjoy your new ride.

I have an 06 SS

Here are some of the things I did as far as performance

Doug Thorley Headers
Magnaflow Cat backs
Lew tune (performance tune)
Ram air hood by MPD Dumps air right into your cold air intake
K&N intake (I wish now I had chosen CAI)
Resonator delete

Thanks for the comments..... I was sleepy when I made this thread so sorry for the typos. Lol. But I have been trying to post a pic for the longest. Can't seem to get it right. So the lew tune is better then The overkill tune

I would just start saving up 7-10k , 2-5k for transmission , 5k for turbo , 1k for suspention
500 for HP tuners software to tune your own car , 500 for Auto Enguinity software for Bi directional control and Enhanced Codes for ALL modules not just the PCM

This is the path i took

Doesn't sound like there is nearly as much potential in these v8's as there is on the 3800s

From what I've read and my previous experience with the 3800s, they can very easily be a low 13-high 12 second car. From a little research on these 5.3s, it seems as the mods are more limited I guess you can say.

I guess my goal to reach high 12s or low 13s with the 07 ss is more complicated than was on my 04 ss.
