I recently got a 10 year old 2002 Monte Carlo SS (V6 Basic Engine) that has around 150,000 miles on it. Generally speaking, it's in a fairly good condition, but I would rather get a new engine to expand the lifetime of it. I am also thinking of modding the new engine to make my Monte faster.

If anyone has an idea on where to get a new engine for a decent price, I would appreciate it.
