Default Need Help Identifying A Part

Did a tear down on my 99 Monte Carlo with 3.1 engine. Had to replace head and lower intake manifold gaskets. I have one part I don't recall where it goes and my manual has poor pictures.

It is a support bracket and here is a pic.

Looks like a support bracket that was used on my engine for the EGR system, going from the Throttle body to a hose down near the air box.

I have mine removed :P

On my 01 3.8, that looks like a support bracket that goes from the alternator to another bracket attached to the lower intake manifold. But that is on my 3.8...

well if the cars runnin ok without it it cant be too important right?

Thanks for the guesses. It turns out it is a second bracket on the alternator. Both brackets attach to the upper intake manifold and than to the alternator.

I remember having a few extra bolts after we replaced a trans in a honda I used to have, always fun having extra parts when your done
