Yea it would have been. When I called the junk yard they even asked me if I wanted the supercharged motor and I told then no. That was stupid of me . But its a little late to change my mind now.

My HV3 insert came in today.











I got a new gasket also. Top one is the new one.








If anyone decides to get the HV3 insert, dont get the gasket unless you need it. You can save money.when you take off your UIM take off your gasket and it will look like this. Take a dremel or some type of cutting tool and cut those tabs off that are holding the hose.






After you do that It will look this this








Take out your stock runners then insert your HV3 into your UIM.










The flat side will be up so the gasket will set flush with it.










Then just put everything back together.



I also bought some coolant elbows

 

The engine block and crankshaft is at the machine shop to be cleaned and inspected. I hope they have good news for me after the inspection.

She doesnt like driving my car anyway. She says its to low to the ground. So thats why she has a jeep. lol
