hi im used to work on imports just got this 1986 monte carlo ss from my brother he owned since factory is been park for 13 years under a tree im trying to restore back it have a 305 h.o quadrajet im tring to istall an aluminium intake but they told me the i cant by pass the egr dont want to mess it up i cranks fine but i want to make look ok i nstall a350 turbo tranny with shift kit can i by pass the egr or not

 

can i by pass the egr on an 86 305 h.o monte carlo ss like the rotary engine doesnt afet them

 

i always take the egr off and make a block off plate and it works fine
