Hello, I am in need of an egr valve for my 2001 Monte SS, I believe the part number is eg10169. If anyone has one, please email me with a price with shipping to 53172, South Milwaukee Wi.. Thanks so much.. Michael..

Sent ya a PM. I have a used one. Not sure what price to put on it. Used up to 70k miles when I did headers.

EGR's don't go bad often. But some times they get carboned up.
Why are you looking for one? Are you getting a CEL code popping up??

Hello, yes, it's coding out.. My CEL just popped on .. Can these be cleaned out? Thanks.. Mjc..

What is the code you're getting?

I helped a friend with a 3800 popping a could that "sounded" like it could be a failed EGR, instead I think it was dry rotted vac lines/fittings I then replaced for him. But I did pop the EGR off, flipped it upside down and sprayed carb clean on it. Bottom line, he no longer has any codes.
Again, these EGRs don't usually fail (but there are those rare times when they do).

I put a block off plate on the headers and the LIM. Cleans up the engine bay nicely.

Me too but I think he needs the car to pass strict emissions so he needs the EGR functioning and the code not present

He's not as fortunate as us to not have emissions lol

Correct... After that, I don't care..lol... Do you have pics of the engine bay? I want to get mine "dressed" as best as possible.. I need some ideas.. Mjclemm.. Thanks..
