Default missing connection

2001 MC ss
Hi I just did lim/uim gaskets on my daughters Monte and after finishing up I have 1 electrical connector I dont know where it goes.
It is grouped with the alternator ground and alternator electrical connection, there is nothing to connect it to there. It is only about 3 inch long wires from the harness so the connector cant be far but nothing there but alternator.Could it be for adding something. It is twice the size of the alternator hook up and is creme colored with orange rubber seal, thanks.

It may be for the MAP sensor.

If I recall correctly that was just an extra connection. Probably used in a different vehicle with the 3.8

Another member on this forum had the same problem, if its the same connector i'm thinking it is, we came to the conclusion that the Monte did not use it, and it was supposed to be a free wire on the Monte. I checked on my mom's bonneville with the 3.8L, and found the wire/ plug used, and the place it was used at DID NOT exist in the Monte.
