My grandson just bought his first car, 1987 Monte SS. He is trying to get it on the road and asked me to check the wiper motor because it appears to run slowly. I have the motor and pump out but before I start to trouble shoot I need to know about the two pin connector on the motor. Are both these pins "hot" with one being for low speed and the other for high speed or is one "hot" and the other "ground"? I tested both with an ohm meter and the both complete a circuit to the body of the motor. I don't want to put any power to it because I don't want to burn it up.
