That's what I thought, I have tons of 3400 parts if you're interested, ported, polished and powdercoated upper and lower manis with the full gasket kit.

I was going to do them on my Monte, but I'm deciding not to mod anymore.

One thing I loved is that the 3400 sounds 100x better than the 3800. My problem was the pricing for everything and the outcome, just didn't seem to make as much power as any mods to the 3800.

and thanks, creeper

Secondly, not everyone knows how or has the tools to swap an engine, plus the cost of shipping and hauling a 3800 around, so that'll add a few grand to the price. Even more depending on which shop would put in the engine.
Well that's the point, you can L67 swap, cam, injectors, headers and a pulley for right around $2k.. you're over the turbo power point, still half the price and if you get a turbo kit for $2k, then you're in the same position. Now what with the turbo kit though? With the L67 you port the blower, swap to Gen V blower and port it, drop the pulley again, larger IC, etc. I mean there's so much further to go with an L67 or L36.

Thing is, say you go 3400 turbo and want to change your route, you can still 3800 swap and use the turbo kit. If you find a 3800 turbo kit, making it work will be pretty dang easy. The thing you have to worry about is the crossover and maybe some parts of the intercooler piping. I'm not 100% sure here.

The call is yours, I'm just saying the 3800 will be easier and cheaper, but like you said, 3400 will be much cooler in the end.

@Timkang if you visit 60DegreeV6.com - Site News plenty of great info too.

In the end just make sure you have researched all possibilities to know and not think or feel you are making the correct decision.

Careful with Milzy, they have bad tunes (mine is horrible, runs rich), and Mike has had some interesting reviews too. Read around before making a large purchase.

I will it might be a few months though. I need to get all my stuff situated before I start tearing into the engine. I need to have another car to use as a fall back before I disable mine. But I will post another thread when I start

there was a guy in car craft years ago that did some type of skid plate or demo nonsense that had actually gotten the m90 to work on a 3400. dont get me wrong, it didnt bolt on and they said he sealed it some how and it was a total freak show but it worked. im sure i have the issue somewhere in a box, but am not going to dig around for it. it did look insane though. it wasnt an article just a 4inch pic and a couple sentences.
