LS1 Engine swap

I have a 84 with a mild 350 and i was wondering if anyone had already done a LS1 engine swap useing the computer and the trans out of a f body car was just wondering if this is a good idea or if it would be a big pain and how would it cost any problems ect. i am more use to the old school motor and but i have seen ls1 enginemake big power if anyone has done this and can give me any feed back on this that would be great

you would also need a high pressure fuel system, might consider the edelbrock 7118 kit

i havent done it myself but im sur eit has been done someplace seems like as fast as they come out someoen is doing somthign like this to a car any car.
just maks sure anythign that ya do is get the puter for that car I.E. if you pull it out of a camaro then pull the computer for the camaro etc...

Also i have heard from several folks it is easier to buy a donnalr car that is at least runnign as long as all the stuff ya need is there.

i would find a roll over etc... somethign that i could pull apart and sell all i could to make sure it would help with the cost.
