Default lower motor mounts broken

How many lower motor mounts are there on a 2007 Monte Carlo SS? How much do they usually cost? How hard would it be to replace myself? and is $700 a good price, parts and labor for the shop to replace them?

A lower motor mount replaced parts and labor $700, really. That seems way excessive for about maybe 2 hours labor and a parts. I would call around and get a second, third opinion for sure.

$700 was the cheapest, Chevy wanted $1300. They have been replaced. But I'm still having an issue with it spitting, sputtering, surging and the RPM's going all over the place. I've replaced the spark plugs, and wires, new air filter, and new motor mounts. I did a scan with a code scanner and it came up with nothing. Could it be the throttle body? This all started after I added fuel injector cleaner, not sure if that's the problem.

Maybe the injectors got some junk in them. Or a bad O2 sensor

Replacing the front motor mount is not that hard , Support the engine from above , unbolt transmission mounts and front mount , put jacks under sub frame , unbolt subframe bolts and lower the back a inch or so and then lower the front enough till you can get it out,

Also as far as your stuttering , can you tell me what your fuel trims are ? I need to know the long term fuel trim and short term , at IDLE, 1500 RPM , 3000 RPM please

A generic scanner should be able to give you those Fuel trim numbers
Hello Mel long time no see

Well it turns out, it seems like it's a transmission problem. My wife drove it yesterday and when she put it in reverse it would not move, she put it in drive, it wouldn't move. She then turned it off, and restarted, she then put it in 1st gear, and it moved, also in reverse. this problem is intermittent, now its in the shop by way of a tow. When I put it on a scanner I got nothing.
Oh and by the way, thanks guys for all the help.
