From Milzy Motorsports... for $1300 plus the return on the PCM, you can put the supercharger on your 3800.

yea, but then ya need the trans upgrade parts for $470(parts only) or chance it... but thats still alot cheaper than waht i need, the L67 swap for an LS... $2902.49 if i ever blew apart the engine or trans it wouldnt be a bad idea though.

with all the research i have done since i got my GTP.... the gtp's HD trany isnt that much diff then the normal 3800 trany... only the diff is upgraded.... also the HD has a lower gearing which actually hurts accel... but is better for mpg.

for speed its best to keep the non SC trany because of the gearing. also a higher geared trany will handle more poewr without breakage then a lower gear... think of your MT bike... if you have a Large gear on the front and kick the peddle you might break the chain... if you have it on a lower gear you'll spin the rear tire!!!

i swapped gears in my Z factory is 3.43's now i have 3.73's
GTP's come with 2.92's and the 3800NA has 3.29's some upgrade gearig on the gtps to 3.69's but launching the car becomes very tricky with lots of low end Tq and that type of gearing.

Don't forget to change your axle half shafts to the HD axles, also. I think there is more to the HD tranny than just the diff'. There's also different clutch plates, more of them, or something.
I think it would be a good swap. Potentially more HP because of the higher commpression ratio.
