L67 Supercharger "Top Swap" - project scope
Hello all,
New to the site, new to my 2004 Monte Carlo. I regret not getting the Supercharged SS, So as a long term project, I would like to complete the "Top Swap". What I would like to know from you all is the scope of the project, (i.e. is this in the realm of the garage-mechanic or the proffessional shop), and any advice anybody can give me when going through this procedure. Any info will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

there is tons of threads on this, use the search feature you will find tons of information!
aside from that if you can build an engine you will have no issues doing this at all, you will need to tear everything off the top end including the heads and then rebuild with the sc parts is the simplest way to describe it. i suggest finding a used top swap thats in good condition as they are way cheaper than buying new. also consider turbo, turbo cars make more power and you dont need to tear into the engine at all its all bolt on.....
welcome to mcf!
