Has anybody tried this or have any knowledge of this build plus are the HP numbers correct ?

Lol that is my build, but I have even more! No the numbers are exaggerated and a sales claim and a little deceiveable. For example the hv3 does give about 20 hp, BUT it is 20 hp in the upper rpm band where your hp drops about 20-25 already and it is just helping restore it.

With all of that you would have a more responsive car, and you would be pretty happy imo

I agree with Chibi. Coming from an NA background though, I recommend skipping the NA build altogether and go boost. You can do an engine swap for the cost of the engine if you do it yourself ($150-$750), do a top swap with all the needed parts (less then $1000), or find a good used turbo kit ($2000 or less). If I were to start all over again, I would just go turbo. You can make 400hp by keeping everything else stock, all you would need is the kit. That's a great deal, especially when you consider that that goal is impossible in NA form, and very expensive in M90 form.

But if you want just a slightly better feel/response out of your Monte and nothing else, I would just throw in a set of rockers and call it a day. But if you plan on going beyond that, then look at boost.

lol i want a cold air intake for my 3100 but i know i gotta do it custom is it worth it?

i agree with this 100% but on a bone stock intercooled turbo setup i dont think you will get 400whp probably around 320whp-350whp is where you will sit but that all depends on what kit you buy and what turbo you have. my monte with bone stock engine and a intercooled cartuning kit was right around 320whp. i have a completely built engine and trans now still running the cartuning kit and made 384whp (maxed out the maf or probably could of seen just over 400whp) if you go with a z7 kit you will probably be around 350whp stock engine and trans.

I am going turbo eventually, I did my build because it all helps with the turbo down the line

I know I'm being picky here, but I never said 400Whp, but 400 hp (which would be around 320-350whp) One person in particular who I can think of with a Grand Prix that was impressive was Kuntzie. I don't know how he did it, but every step of the way with his project he made great whp, even when you consider that he did a 5 speed swap. If you can find out what all he did, you would be golden.
