ok so i wana install a kill switch in my 84 Monte SS under my dash.....i wana do this cuz where i live they r stolen very often and i wana prevent that...i just had a new steering column put in it cuz it was broken into and they tried to steel it....so i want it to kill all power to EVERYTHING..

i have no clue where to start...any ideas?

 

Just buy a switch that can handle higher power and its pretty easy from there, ground the switch, give it a constant supply, then run the acc part of hte switch to your main fuse. Ive been, the last week, doing all kinds of things with switches in my car, I got one that, instead of turning the key to start, I use a rocker button.
So basically, find a switch that'll handle some high power, find the line for the main fuse in your car, and follow the instructions on the package for the switch.
