Default install question

i'm picking up a braided hose sleeve kit from pep boys to dress up the engine bay and i was wondering if i'm going to have to drain any fluids to install this kit or would you recommend me having midas do it for a couple bucks?

Depends on the sleeve kit- if the sleeve is cut down one side, then you shouldn't have to. If the sleeve is solid and you want to leave it that way, you'll have to take off the hoses you want to sleeve. Also kinda depends on the ends too- you may not be able to shove the ends over the hose (especially on hoses you can't pinch together much due to small size).

Shouldn't be that bad to install.

don't take it to midas or any where else do them yourself. all the shop going to do is over charge you and might scratch up the end caps. it's not that hard and you do not have to drain any fluid. let the car sit over nite so all the fluid will settle down and make it easy with no mess. the hardest part is cutting the sleeve to sizes. the best tool for it i found out was one of them electic grinder hand tool that use round disc, sorry i don't know what's the name of the tool call. it gives a clean fast cut. the tin snip or manual cutting tool will take forever.
