I have two cars with 3800 supercharged , One is 2005 Monte carlo SS
the other is my wife's 2005 Impala SS , I Love both cars.

 

you should be good with that one, check for rust in the problem areas.

I would check the supercharger for any play in the bearings and everything.

check the coolant, make sure it looks right, make sure the oil isn't too dark, indicating it maybe hasn't been taken care of, along with the transmission fluid

 

Totally understand I wouldn't wanna get rid of it either!

What bank is giving out loans of 1000-1500 anymore? They will just tell you to go apply for a credit card. Credit Union?
