Default Electric superchargers

Ive been searching for superchargers for my 02 monte carlo ls and recently found an electric supercharger and im wondering if anyone knows anything about them or how they work as compared to a pulley driven model. An dare there any advantages or disadvantages to them? thanks

There are absolutely ZERO advantages to an electric supercharger. They are scams and your car cannot produce enough electrical power to produce the boost that a typical belt driven supercharger will produce.

Read this thread to find mods that actually WILL give you gains: https://montecarloforum.com/forum/en...-bumpin-24896/

He has an LS. He doesnt have the 3800 he has the 3400. Nevertheless, those electric "superchargers" are a waste of money. They wont produce any more air than the blower motor for your HVAC system in your car.
