IMO bang for the buck for someone just wanting to stick to basic bolt ons, the top swap is better.

In the long run- if you wanted to keep modding, and modding, then yeah- turbo all the way- but for someone starting out and wanting to stay basic, a ~$500 top swap can be just as good of an option as a $2500+ turbo kit.
