A funny story in exchange for advice
So my daily driver is a 01 monte carlo with a 3.4. It has been stuck in a snow drift in my driveway for the last few weeks. Last Saturday morning I decided I was going to do some digging to get it out. After a whole lot of shoveling I found a big ol' hook up front. With a lack of my better judgment I hooked it up tomyJeep With a steady pull the chain let loose. (my thoughts were wow that hook was garbage. I walked back to find somthing else to hook to and found Oil dumping out of the oil pan?
there was a *$#%in hook on the oil pan ??
In aupset off mood I parked the Jeep and have not even looked at the car which is now back in a 4 foot drift.
My first thought was a new oil pan. My second thought was probably having to pull the engine to get to it. my third thought was it a transmission pan? or possibly a power steering line?
my recent thought was quick steel.
Insert advice below.

Hi Ed, Welcome 2 MCF
I'm sorry 2 read about your problems, but I think you will have
to wait to view the damage, before you can determine what has been damaged. Maybe another member has some advise.

RE: A funny story in exchange for advice
Sory to hear about your troubles. On a good note, weather it is the oil pan or transmission pan, they are both actually pretty easily replaced with the engine in the car. I know with the 3.8 there is a horseshoe engine mount at the front that can be a little bit of a PITA, but I don't think it is to much trouble with the 3.4. Good luck
