Engine shut off

2001 Monte - Engine shuts off after initial start. Also shuts off while driving and need to pop it into Neutral to start it up again.

Any thoughts on what it could be?

3800 engine?

Try unplugging the MAF, or cleaning it with MAF spray.

Could also be a failing IAC

They are all sensors on your Throttle Body

Thanks man.....that helps. Will probably start with the MAF and see how she responds.

You'll need a T-20 Security Torx Bit to remove the screws
