im tryin to get a new, more powerful engine in my 02 monte but im not sure what will fit in there an i really dont wanna pay a whole lot.. any1 know a place in south east michigan that builds engines? im also lookin at some on ebay but i really dont know much about engines so if any1 could help me out id really appriciate it

i would probably just go with the supercharged 3.8 or something out of an 04-05 monte ss

 

ive got a 3400. i found a 327 chevy on ebay but i dunno if thatll fit

 

wont fit ... well anything will fit with enough time and money... but for all practical ...NO it wont.

like said get the 3800 Sc you can try and mod your 3400 or buy a 3800 and try mods but the 3800 sc will be much cheeper and run faster

 

how much would that cost an how much power would i get outta it?

 

if you look around, find the 3800 out of a 04-05 GTP, it has 260 hp instead fo the 240 out of the 04-05 montes.
